Shoutcast for Amarok 2.2.0

The holidays have given me some free time to search the internet for Linux Ubuntu issues I have on my many computers. The lack of Shoutcast plugin in Amarok 2.2.0 which comes with the Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) repository is an issue I just learned about today. I did a quick Google search and found the following URL with a temporary solution.

There are not any directions for installing the script so I played around and discovered that the Tools menu has a Script Manager item which supports loading the tar file from the above web site. You have to then make sure that the Shoutcast checkbox is checked after the tar file has been successfully loaded.
